CHICAGO — The Beverly Area Planning Association has a part-time job opening they announced in their most recent e-mail newsletter.
Job duties for the business liaison position include working with local businesses, overseeing and soliciting BAPA business memberships and special event sponsorship, developing and presenting business programs, partnering with community organizations on business promotions, publications sales support and helping to staff BAPA special events like the Ridge Run and Beverly Hills Cycling Classic.
Candidates for the job should have familiarity with the Beverly/Morgan Park neighborhood and businesses, experience planning and presenting events and be conversant with using Microsoft Office software.
