The Biggest Rainbow Cone Fan ... Ever?

Think you love Rainbow Cone? Amanda Callas has you beat.

The 38-year-old Evergreen Park native took her fondness for the five-tiered treat to a new level several years ago, when she had one tattooed on her shoulder.

“I just love Rainbow Cone,” Callas said. She and her family visited the original location often when she was a child—and as of March 25, she’d been there twice since its opening this season.

Some fans were in an uproar earlier this week at the news that south suburban ice cream chain The Creamery would no longer sell Rainbow Cones, due to a break in the licensing agreement between the businesses.

Callas doesn’t mind. She’ll just keep frequenting the original.
