Bird Watch In Dan Ryan Woods This Weekend
A noted ornithologist will lead a bird watch in the Dan Ryan Woods on Saturday.

CHICAGO, IL - Bird lovers throughout Chicagoland might be interested in a bird watch taking place at the South Side's Dan Ryan Woods this weekend. Noted ornithologist Walter Marcisz will guide a watch in the area beginning at 8:15 a.m. on Saturday, May 12.
The event is an annual one organized by the Beverly Improvement Association. A Nature walk will accompany the bird watch after a breakfast tailgate set for the parking lot at 89th and Western at 7:30 a.m.
"Bring your binoculars and guide books, wear waterproof boots, and expect an enjoyable morning viewing woodpeckers, swallows, warblers, hummingbirds, cowbirds, hawks, goldfinch and countless other familiar and migrating birds," the BIA wrote on Facebook.
