Catch the Christmas Spirit at Mt. Greenwood Park's Winter Wonderland

CHICAGO, IL -- Mt. Greenwood Park will be transformed into a Winter Wonderland from 2 to 5 p.m. this Saturday, Dec. 10, with all kinds of free family fun to get you in the Christmas mood.

Winter Wonderland offers everything from ice skating and sleigh rides to hot chocolate and face painting. Saturday’s lineup of activities include:

• Face painting, crafts and sleigh rides from 2 to 4:30 p.m.
• Magic show, 2:30 p.m.
• Reading of ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas,’ 3:30 p.m.
• Christmas Carols, 4:45 p.m.
• Christmas Tree Lighting, 5 p.m.

Dress warm because it’s supposed to be cold. There will also be plenty of indoor fun in the heated Mt. Greenwood Park Field House at 3724 W. 111th St.
