He was arrested on June 1 when he again met the undercover cop in a prearranged crack-cocaine sale, the prosecutor said.

Allen used the same cell phone and drove the same vehicle to all the controlled buys. Most of the purchases were made for $50 in prerecorded funds, according to the allegations.

Allen’s cell phone was found inside his car at the time of his arrest, as well as $2,300 in cash, the prosecutor said.

The contraband reportedly field-tested positive for crack cocaine.

Allen served four years in the Illinois Department of Corrections on a 2004 burglary conviction. He also has prior convictions for possession of a controlled substance in 2002 and 1999.

Judge Felice set bail for each count at $50,000, for a total amount of $500,000.

The prosecutor requested an order for source of funds should Allen bond out.

Allen’s next court hearing is scheduled for June 21 in Bridgeview.
