Chicago Police Report Santa Sighting Over Lake Michigan
Chicago Police advise younger residents to leave cookies out and go to bed.
CHICAGO — The Chicago Police Department issued a special alert after a police helicopter spotted a miniature sleigh pulled by eight tiny reindeer over Lake Michigan around 9:30 p.m. Christmas Eve. A radio transmission was attached to the alert.
The unidentified object has been identified as Santa Claus. All residents, especially the younger ones, to leave their snacks out for Santa and go to sleep. CPD wishes all a happy and safe holiday season.
