CHICAGO — Imagine a lovely new tree gracing your parkway? The City of Chicago recently budgeted $46 million to expand the city’s tree canopy?

The city will be planting 15,000 new trees each year for the next five years in an effort to improve air quality, reduce smog and emissions, help conserve energy costs, and increase property values. To request a tree planting for your parkway, please click here or, email the 19th Ward, ward19@cityofchicago.org, and the office will submit your request for you.

Due to high demand, trees requested in 2022 should be planted in 2023. Planting new trees is a great way to enhance your property and our entire community. Get your request in right away.
