City Stickers Available At Sale Events In Beverly, Mt. Greenwood

City officials will host city sticker sales this week at Ridge Park and next month at the 19th Ward Office in Mount Greenwood.

CHICAGO, IL - City officials have teamed to organize two city vehicle sticker sale events in Beverly and Mount Greenwood.

19th Ward Ald. Matt O'Shea and Chicago City Clerk Anna Valencia will host a sale on Tuesday, May 22 at Ridge Park, 9625 S. Longwood Dr. from noon-4 p.m. and another on Wednesday, June 20 from noon-4 p.m. at the 19th Ward Mt. Greenwood Office, 3207 W. 111th St.

Chicago residents purchasing a ticket at these sales must have their Chicago vehicle sticker courtesy reminder letter or their state vehicle registration card with vehicle plate, make, model and VIN with them.

Use a credit card, money order or check to pay for the stickers. Cash won't be accepted at either sale event.

City sticker costs range from $86 for passenger vehicles to $468 for large trucks. Late fees are $60 and $30 for seniors, who are also granted discounts on the original cost.

The City Clerk's Office has a"city sticker guide" that answers frequently asked questions, including what the grace period is for new city residents and those who have purchased a new vehicle.

For those on the regular yearly city sticker schedule, that time frame is July 1-June 30.

Make sure to buy one for all your registered cars by then. A ticket for failing to buy a Chicago vehicle city sticker is a minimum of $200.
