College Savings Assistance Night Set for Sept. 1

CHICAGO, IL -- One day you’re bringing them home from the hospital, and the next day they’re 17 or 18 years old and you’re packing them up to go to college. To prepare your kids for college, the 19th Ward Youth Foundation is hosting a “College Savings Assistance Night.”

Topics covered at this free informational event will cover college savings plans, including College Illinois, Bright Start and Bright Directions, and other private college savings programs. The presentation starts at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 1, at Mt. Greenwood Elementary School, 10841 S. Homan Ave.
