CPD Plans Dan Ryan DUI Enforcement, March 5
Chicago police will be monitoring traffic on the Dan Ryan for impaired drivers, speeders and safety belt violators.

The Chicago Police Department will be conducting a DUI Strike Force Patrol along the Dan Ryan Expressway (6300 South to 9500 South) beginning at 7 p.m. Saturday, March 5, and ending at 3 a.m. Sunday, March 6.
Roving police officers will saturate a pre-designated area and continually monitor traffic for signs of impaired driving. Patrols also will be watching for speed, alcohol-related and safety belt violations.
Police vehicles will be equipped with speed radar detection. The BAT (breath alcohol testing) Mobile Unit may also be deployed for motorists suspected of driving under influence before they are processed and taken to the nearest lockup for bonding.

I-Bonds can also be administered from the BAT Mobile at the site of the DUI Strike Force Patrol.
