Dad chews through cop car seatbelt to get to son's birthday after he was picked up for selling heroin: police.

A man selling heroin on South Western Avenue was picked up by Chicago cops on drug surveillance Monday afternoon, according to police, but he had much to chew on during the drive to the police station.
His seatbelt, that is.
Lashon Stuckey, 33, told cops he didn’t want to go to jail and miss his son’s birthday so he chewed through his seatbelt, according to police.

Stuckey, of the 2300 block of West Jackson Boulevard, is accused of selling $30 of heroin on the 200 block of South Western Avenue. Police said they found bags of heroin on him. He’s charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance and one count of criminal damage to property. His bail was set Tuesday at $75,000.
