Delay In Garbage Pick-Up This Week

CHICAGO - There will be a delay in garbage service for a number of residents in Beverly, Mount Greenwood and Morgan Park this week, 19th Ward Ald. Matt O'Shea said in an email to ward residents.

Some homes in the city were missed entirely last week due to the extremely cold temperatures, which caused the delay that will spill over into this week.

Service in the 19th Ward will resume on Tuesday, O'Shea said. The alderman asks residents to call his office at 773-238-8766 if their garbage has not been serviced by 3 p.m. on Wednesday.
