The Dirty Wellies to play at SXU

Enjoy traditional Irish music on SXU' s Chicago Campus!

Join Saint Xavier University (SXU) for an evening of traditional Irish music played by The Dirty Wellies onTuesday, Feb. 10 at 7:30 p.m. in McGuire Hall located on SXU’s Chicago Campus, 3700 W. 103rd Street. The Dirty Wellies are a Celtic, four-piece band including the fiddle, banjo, guitar, tin whistle, accordion and Bodhran drum. This is a free performance by nine excellent musicians. Come join in the fun!

The Dirty Wellies’ perform in an “open session” style concert, which allows for singers and players to step up and join the craic. The band includes two members of SXU’s very own community, Adjunct Professor of Music Regina Garrity and recently retired Associate Professor of Computer Science James Aman.
