Funds Raised for Family of Fallen Marist Alum

MANHATTAN, IL - An effort to raise funds for the family of a Marist High School alum who was tragically killed in a rollover car crash over the weekend has brought in more than $10,000.
Friends and family of Brian Cadore have raised $12,570 out of a $15,000 goal on a YouCaring campaign as of early Monday evening.
Cadore, 31 was one of two men from far south suburban Manhattan killed when a car rolled over near the intersection of U.S. 52 and Cedar Road around 11 p.m. Friday night. David Alberts, 35, the driver, was also killed. Alberts was an alum of Sandburg High School in Orland Park according to his Facebook page.

Cadore leaves behind his wife, Taryn (nee Collins) Cadore and two children: Madison and Brian Jr. The funds raised on the YouCaring website will be donated to the family and help offset funeral costs.

An obituary from Kerry Funeral Home indicates Cadore was an engineer for the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad and was a former fireman and paramedic in many Chicago suburbs.
He was an alum of Saint Louis University and Marist High School, where he was a member of the band.
Friends shared their memories of Cadore with numerous tributes on his Facebook page.
A visitation for Cadore will take place at Kerry Funeral Home in Palos Heights from 3-9 p.m. on Tuesday. Chapel prayers will follow on Wednesday, with a procession to Saint Alexander Church for a mass at 10 a.m.
