Enjoy Chicago-Style Rock In The Fresh Air With The Deadbolts

Outdoor summer concerts continue in the 19th Ward with local talent, The Dead Bolts, rocking out July 22 at McKiernan Park.

CHICAGO — Enjoy live music in the fresh air this Thursday, July 22, when the 19thh Ward Youth and Community Foundation hosts a free outdoor concert at McKiernan Park, 10714 S. Sawyer Ave. Local rock band, The Dead Bolts, takes the stage at 7 p.m.

These guys are great! Watch the Dead Bolts’ YouTube video, “Live From The Loop” as they perform a 40-minute set on top of the Greek Kitchen.

Bring a blanket and a cooler and enjoy a summer evening in the park with friends and neighbors. Don't forget the mosquito repellant. Restroom facilities will be available.

In addition, the 19th Ward will be selling the "Freedom Isn't Free" yard signs for $20 in support of the Road Home Program at Rush University Medical Center.
