Food Drive Wednesday At Maple Morgan Park Food Pantry

The Maple Morgan Park Food Pantry will be accepting food and monetary donations Wednesday, Sept. 23 for everyday needs and Thanksgiving.

CHICAGO — Maple Morgan Park Food Pantry needs some help this COVID-19 Thanksgiving. The pantry will be holding a food drive from noon to 3 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 23. Donations may be dropped off curbside in the parking lot at 11300 S. Longwood Drive, Chicago. This is a safe, contactless event.

In addition to non-perishable food donations, the pantry is also accepting donations of toiletries, baby formula, baby diapers, adult diapers and other items. See the list.

The pantry is also in need of monetary donations of $20, $30, $40, $50, $100 or $300 to help out with discounted and tax-exempt bulk food purchases from the Greater Chicago Food Depository and local businesses.

Checks, cashier checks and sealed cash envelopes are welcome. Make checks payable to Maple Morgan Park Food Pantry and mail or drop off at the food pantry.
