Free Concert At Kennedy Park Tonight
Local band "Joey, Digs & The Dentist" will play a free show beginning at 7 p.m. Thursday at Kennedy Park.
CHICAGO, IL -- A local music group will provide a free outdoor concert at Kennedy Park tonight. The group "Joey, Digs & the Dentist" will be at Kennedy Park, 11320 S. Western Ave. for a show starting at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 10.
The band is made up of of Tom Dignan (Vocals/Guitar/Harmonica), Bob Fitzpatrick (Vocals/Guitar), Joe Cappetto (Drums/Percussion/Vocals), Mike Ellis (Vocals/Bass) and Jack Matson (Guitar/Vocals).
"The band is available for any and all kinds of shows, from bars to parties," according to the band's Facebook page.

Thursday night's event is part of the summer concert series hosted by the 19th Ward Youth Foundation and Chicago Park District. The concert series is co-sponsored by Senator Bill Cunningham, Representative Fran Hurley, Peoples Gas, Little Company of Mary Hospital, Extra Space Storage, Burling Builders and Beverly Bank & Trust.
"Pack a blanket or lawn chair and some bug spray and join us for a great night of music and fun in the park," 19th Ward Ald. Matt O'Shea wrote in an email to constituents on Wednesday.
