CHICAGO — The jackpot didn't get half as high as it did last year, but the second Queen of Hearts game at McNally's bar at 112th and Western in Morgan Park is in the books. And the winner this time will still walk home with a good chunk of change.

The bar announced on its Facebook page Thursday night that a woman uncovered the coveted Queen of Hearts by picking the #15 card. She will split the $740,000 jackpot with St. Cajetan School.

Information on who the winner is this time isn't yet available. Last year, a dentist from west suburban Darien won $1.3 million, splitting a pot that reached $2.6 million with the local Catholic school.

Queen of Hearts games have become a regular feature at bars on the South Side, which generally partner with either a Catholic school or charity to raise funds. The game at McNally's last year started the trend.

"I'd say we are the pioneers of the raffle on the South Side," St. Cajetan Principal Michelle Nitsche said last year.

McNally's clever weekly "rollover" Facebook posts featuring the Queen of England in various situations have provided fun for followers of the game.

But until next time:
