Hop on Over to the Bunny Dash 5K Run/Walk and Egg Hunt in Chicago, April 4th!

The 5th annual event includes fun and entertainment for the whole family and benefits official charity partner, the Red Door Animal Shelter.

Spring is in the air, and it’s time to register for the 5th Annual Bunny Dash 5K Run/Walk & Egg Hunt. This family-friend event is set for Saturday, April 4th in Chicago’s Grant Park!

Runner and walkers will receive bunny ears, neon sunglasses and a Dri-Fit Unisex Bunny Rock t-shirt to show off as they travel through the course, which starts and ends at the upper Hutchison Field in Grant Park and runs along Chicago’s beautiful lakefront.

The kiddies (ages 2-8) will enjoy a mega-egg hunt including 3,000 candy stuffed eggs, a live petting zoo and a chance to take a picture with the Easter Bunny.

Eighties rock music will fill the air at the 5K start and finish, and medals will be awarded to the top 3 finishers in each age group (10 and under, then every 5 years up to 80 and older).

“The Bunny Rock 5K is a great way to kick off the spring season; it’s been a long cold winter and this event is a great way to bring together family and friends for some healthy fun,” said Aaron Del Mar, founder of Adrenaline Sports Management, the company behind the Bunny Rock race series.
