Man Chased by Cops Hit by Semi Truck on I-57
The man fleeing on foot jumped onto the bed of a semi truck and fell off, causing delays near 119th Street Thursday morning.

CHICAGO, IL - A man fleeing police capture Thursday morning was hit by a semi truck in the southbound lanes of Interstate 57 near the 119th Street exit.
The accident closed traffic in the area for nearly an hour during the morning rush hour.
The man was wanted for retail theft and fled on foot from police, who were also on foot according to a CBS-Chicago report.

Police said he jumped onto the bed of the truck, rolled off and then was partially run over.
His injuries are considered serious but non life-threatening
