CHICAGO – Judie Anderson will receive the Beverly Arts Center lifetime achievement award and the Stanton family the Founders' Award at the BAC's annual fundraising gala, this year dubbed "A Mad Hatter Affair."

Anderson is one of the original community members who helped establish the BAC, according to a news release. She's been active in the Beverly/Morgan Park community for more than 50 years, in that time starting the Baer art competition in honor of her good friends Alice and Arthur Baer.

Pat Stanton Sr. and his family will be honored with the Founders' Award "for decades spent in service to the BAC, helping consistently usher the organization into new territories."

The winners will be honored at a fundraising gala later this month that will include a night of open bars, food stations and live music from South City Revival at the BAC. The money raised at the event will support arts programming at the BAC and schools across Chicagoland that the organization serves.
