M&R Rush, Michael McDermott, Subdudes Featured In BAC Fall Concert Series

Beverly Arts Center announces an exciting fall concert series featuring M&R Rush, Michael McDermott and The Subdudes. Tickets on sale now.

CHICAGO, IL -- The Beverly Arts Center is hosting an exciting fall concert series featuring the musical stylings of M&R Rush, Michael McDermott and the Subdudes. Audiences can expect a range of styles from Jersey rock, 1980s new wave and laid back New Orleans swamp rock. All shows start at 8 p.m., unless noted.

M&R Rush kicks off the concert series on Oct. 14. Starting in the early 1970s, M&R Rush grew to fame sharing the stage with the Go Go’s, Styx and Head East to name a few. After taking a few years off the band is back to perform their “Double or Nothin’” tour. The show starts at 8 p.m., with a 7 p.m. pre-show by Passport. Tickets are $15/$14 for BAC members.

Michael McDermott and The Duke Street Kings hit the stage Halloween weekend performing some of Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band’s greatest hits. Michael McDermott’s Halloweensteen is Saturday Oct. 28 at 8 p.m. Tickets are $30/$27 for BAC members.

The Subdudes close BAC’s fall concert series on Nov. 9. The Subdudes are an American roots rock group from New Orleans. Their music blends folk, swamp pop, New Orleans rhythm and blues, Louisiana Blues, country, cajun/zydeco, funk soul, and gospel with harmonic vocals. Tickets are $40/$36 for BAC members.

All tickets can be purchased online on the BAC website, or by calling 773-445-3838. Doors open an hour before show time. Cash bars, free parking, atrium and courtyard will be available. The Beverly Arts Center is located at 2407 W. 111th St., Chicago.
