Emad Karakrah also didn't have a driver's license, police said.

A Chicago man who sped through South Side streets last week, led police on a chase and then claimed his car was wired with explosives is due in court Wednesday.
Police said Emad Karakrah, 49, of West Lawn, was waving what they describe as an ISIS flag from his silver Pontiac when someone reported his vehicle as suspicious shortly after 9 a.m. Wednesday in the 7700 block of South Kedzie in the Ashburn neighborhood.
ISIS is the terrorist group known as the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant.

Karakrah is now charged with disorderly conduct, aggravated fleeing and driving without a license, according to police, as well as three traffic citations for running red lights and stop signs.
When police caught up with him, he told them his car was wired with explosives. The bomb squad and FBI responded to the scene but no explosives were found. His phony bomb boast also brought out the Department of Homeland Security.
