Marist High School Plans Alumni Reunions And Awards Night

Marist high school hosts alumni reunions and awards night March 8.

CHICAGO, IL — Marist High School is getting ready for alumni reunions and inducting alumni into the Marist Hall of Fame. The reunions and awards dinner will be held Friday, March 8, at the high school, located at 4200 W. 115th St., Chicago.

The evening features dinner, Eternity Award presentations, and reunions for the classes of 1969, 1974, 1979, 1984, 1989, 1994, 1999 and 2004. The awards ceremony starts at 6 p.m. and is free to attend.

This year’s Marist Hall of Fame inductees include:

  • Softball pitcher Colleen Biebel Phelan ’07 (Mt. Greenwood)
  • Hockey goalie Jeremiah Kimento ’97 (Tinley Park) and
  • Third baseman Bill Chval ’88 (Aurora).

The Marist Time and Eternity Award, which recognizes those who have met the pinnacle of their career or service to the greater community, will be given to:

  • Businessman Steve Gill ‘69 (Oak Lawn);
  • Agribusiness executive Tom Coyle ‘74 (Naperville);
  • Insurance consultant Mike Kilbane ‘74 (Hinsdale);
  • Sales executive Tim Evoy ‘79 (Palos Heights);
  • Management executive Rich Luzzo ‘84 (Crestwood);
  • Advancement professional Kevin Joyce ‘89 (Ave Maria, Fla.), and
  • Commercial real estate director Sean Reynolds ‘94 (Downers Grove).

These alumni have given their time and expertise faithfully to Marist in the areas of alumni and advancement initiatives, along with other worthy causes.

The reunion portion of the evening runs from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. The cost is $80 per person and
includes open bar, appetizers, and dinner buffet. Tickets purchased the night of the event will cost $100 per person. The Marist band will perform and tours of the school will be available. All alumni and friends 21 and over are welcome.
