Marist Hosts Class Reunions, Hall of Fame Inductions
Marist High School hosts alumni reunions and awards night March 6. Tickets available online.

CHICAGO, IL — It will be old home week at Marist High School with alumni reunions and hall of fame inductions set for Friday, March 6, at the high school 4200 W. 115h St., Chicago. The night will include Hall of Fame inductions, Time and Eternity Award presentations, and reunions for the classes of 1970, 1975, 1980, 1985, 1990, 1995, and 2000.
Alumni awards and hall inductions will take place in the at 6 p.m. in the RedHawk Theater at Maris High School. The Marist chorus and band will perform during the hour-long program. The awards presentation is free to attend and does not require registration.
The 2020 Hall of Fame inductees are football player Jimmy Blackmore ’95 (Downers Grove) and the 2012 state champion softball team. The Time and Eternity Award, which recognizes those who have met the pinnacle of their career or service to the greater community, will be given to Chicago Police Officer Jim Bailey ’85 (Morgan Park), educator and businessman Jim Carey ’70 (West Beverly), and thoracic surgeon Dr. Francis Podbielski, M.D. ’80 (Riverside). These alumni have given their time and expertise faithfully to Marist, the community, and other worthy causes.

After the awards ceremony, the class reunions and dinner move over to Marist’s nBeeson Science Center at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $60 ($80 at the door) and reservations are required. Online registration is available and closes at noon March 6. Reunion tickets include carving stations, heavy appetizers and open bar (21-plus). Throughout the evening feel free to walk through the main building.
Parking is available in the west lot; please enter through the main entrance. A coat check will be available at the door.
