Marist Junior Achievement Hosts 'JA Day' Feb. 25 for Elementary School Students

Marist JA student instructors will help students in grades K-4 learn about financial literacy using games and interactive lessons Feb. 25.

CHICAGO, IL -- Grade school students currently in kindergarten through fourth grade are invited to learn about financial literacy and economics using games and interactive lessons at JA Day at Marist High School. The event kicks off from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, Feb. 25.

Marist students have been trained as Junior Achievement educators and are ready to help local grade school students have a fun and educational day. Junior Achievement is the nation's largest organization dedicated to giving young people the knowledge and skills they need to own their economic success, plan for their futures, and make smart academic and economic choices. Students will learn in grade level classrooms with Marist student teachers. Snacks will be provided.
Students can enter through the main office doors at the west end of the building located at 4200 W. 115th St., Chicago. Students may dress casually but are encouraged to wear a t-shirt or sweatshirt from their grammar school.
Parents can register their children in advance at Marist JA Day.
