Marist Launches Parent Empowerment Workshop Series, Oct. 5

CHICAGO, IL -- Marist High School's Guidance Department will host a parent empowerment workshop on Thursday, Oct. 5, starting at 6:30pm in the RedHawk Theater. The event kicks off a series of quarterly workshops revolving around parenting and resilient teens. All current Marist parents are invited as well as community members.
Guest speakers Maureen Leece, a school psychologist and educational consultant, and Robert Leece, an expert in the area of parent-child relationships, will present "The Resourceful Teen: A Blueprint for Raising Problem Solvers and Solution Seekers."
This event kicks off a series of quarterly workshops revolving around parenting and resilient teens. Pre-registration on the Marist High School website for this free event is appreciated by not required. Attendees should enter at the main office at the west end of the campus, 4200 West 115th Street in Chicago.
