Marist Offers Little RedHawk Reading Program For Grades K-2

Marist speech team members will read stories to children in grades kindergarten through second grade and perform a story Sept. 19.

CHICAGO, IL -- Marist High School’s nationally recognized speech team will sponsor the Little RedHawk Reading Club on Wednesday, Sept. 19 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. for students in kindergarten through second grade. Marist students will read to the participants from grade level appropriate books and provide a snack. The group will also perform the book The Day the Crayons Quit in the school’s RedHawk Theater.

Participants should enter at the school’s main office doors at the west end of the campus at 4200 West 115th Street in Chicago.
