Marist Showcases Students' Work In Fine Arts Celebration

CHICAGO -- Marist High School will celebrate the arts by showcasing student talent from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 25. The senior art show will feature student photography, drawing, painting, ceramics, and graphic design in the Murphy Art Center. Seniors have been diligently working to complete their portfolios for this always-popular event.

The string ensemble will perform at 6 p.m. in the school chapel offering upbeat classical pieces. Just down the hall in the RedHawk Theater, the chorus will perform at 7 p.m. and offer pop and sacred music, along with choral standards.

All the events are free and attendees should enter through the main office doors at the west end of the building. Marist High School is located at 4200 W. 115th St., Chicago. Community members are welcome.
