Marist Students Earn Archdiocesan Youth Awards

Marist High School students receive Vicariate V Youth Leadership Awards from the Archdiocese of Chicago.

CHICAGO, IL -- Twenty-five Marist High School students received the Vicariate V Youth Leadership Awards from the Archdiocese of Chicago at a dinner on Sunday, April 23. The awards are given annually to students nominated by their school or parish based on their dedication to service in the categories of advocacy, catechesis and evangelization, community life, community service and social justice, pastoral care, peer ministry, and prayer and worship.

The Marist students recognized are Becca Valek; Beverly (seated from left), Molly Healy (Orland Park), Alexis Kolp (Beverly), Elizabeth Travnik (Oak Lawn), Nicole Schleyer (Orland Park), Elena Reyes (Palos Park), Stephanie Lysy; Palos Heights (second row from left), Ellie Marino (Orland Park), Megan Costello (Alsip), Maggie Guidici (Orland Park), Claire Kelly (Beverly), Caelah Bokovec (Beverly), John Kruse; Crestwood (third row from left), Kevin O’Finn (Orland Park), David O’Neil (Oak Forest), Liam O’Connell (Orland Park), David Shaw (Crestwood), Aidan Morrissey (Palos Park), and Keagan Lenz (Oak Lawn).
