McAuley Volleyball, Softball Players Commit to College Sports
The players were recognized during a short ceremony Monday, Nov. 17.

On November 17, Mother McAuley Liberal Arts High School celebrated seven student athletes who have committed to continue their sport in college with a short program for the students, their parents and their coaches. These young women also have been awarded scholarships to attend their chosen schools.
(Seated, from left to right) four volleyball players signed, including Kennedy Arundel ‘15 (Oak Lawn) at the University of Connecticut, Ryann DeJarld ‘15 (Evergreen Park) at the University of Notre Dame, Kelsey Clark ‘15 (Crete) signed at George Washington University and Amber Casey ‘15 (Mt. Greenwood) at the University of St. Francis. Softball players Dara Sanders ‘15 (Crestwood) and Jen Crowley ‘15 (Evergreen Park) have both signed for Lewis University. Emily Rux ‘15 (Beverly), also a softball player, was absent the day of the program, but has committed to the University of Wisconsin Whitewater. Standing behind the athletes are principal, Eileen Boyce; head volleyball coach, Jen DeJarld; Athletic Director, Laurie Jakubcza; president, Mary Acker Klingenberger; and head softball coach, Colleen Kilduff.
