'Midnight Burglar' Strikes Beverly Businesses

Morgan Park 22nd District Police are warning businesses to be aware of a recent burglary spree happening in the Beverly area.

Police said that three burglaries have occurred on a block-long stretch of Western Avenue. In these incidents, the burglar uses a pry tool to break into the businesses. Once inside, he empties the cash registers and searches the property for cash.

All three burglaries occurred around midnight at the following locations.

• September 4, 10400 block of South Western Avenue
• October 13, 10500 block of South Western Avenue
• November 2, 10500 block of Western

Surveillance video in one of the burglars showed a white male in his early thirties with black hair, 5-feet-8-inches tall, about 180 pounds and wearing gloves.
