CHICAGO — Shop early for Christmas treats or add something special to the Thanksgiving feast. The 19th Ward and the Beverly Arts Center are co-hosting Misericordia’s Christmas pop-up shop at the BAC atrium, 2407 W. 111th Street. This year, Saint Cajetan parishioners are volunteering to assist with sales.

Baked goods and other treats made by more than 80 residents include Misericordia’s Hearts and Flour Bakery signature Brownie Hearts, plus a variety of bread (Chocolate Chip, Cinnamon Sour Cream, Lemon, Pumpkin Ginger, and the ever-popular Irish Soda), fudge, and peppermint bark, toffee, caramel and Cajun crunch, pretzel trees, and spiced pecans. In addition, boxes of Christmas cards featuring artwork by residents are available.
