Morgan Park Academy Open House Is Oct. 26
A private school that touts its diversity and small class sizes welcomes prospective students.

CHICAGO, IL -- Morgan Park Academy will host its annual high school open house at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday Oct. 26. All interested students and families are welcome and encouraged to meet the admissions team, hear from current students and faculty, tour the college-like campus, and learn more about MPA’s record of educating independent thinkers and global leaders since 1873, according to a news release from the school.
The independent college preparatory school in Chicago's Beverly-Morgan Park area has students from pre-school through high school and touts its diversity, small class sizes and 1-8 teacher-student ration in its Upper School.
"We want students to leave MPA understanding that their neighborhood and their city aren't everything, that we are part of a larger world that we have a responsibility to," Head Of School Mercedes Z. Sheppard said.
