Morgan Park Football Stages Takeover at Quincy University

Four of the school's star football players have committed to Quincy University.

Four Morgan Park football players commit to Quincy University located in Quincy, Illinois. Defensive Back, Christopher Parker and Middle Line Backer, Anfernee Robinson-Greene were the leaders of this season’s Morgan Park defense.

Robinson-Greene had an unforgettable season, with 168 total tackles while Parker had 25 pass break-ups and 4 interceptions. On the ground, running back, Darius Burse led the Mustangs with 2,012 rushing yards and 17 touchdowns. Wide receiver Jordan Lay added depth to the Mustang roster. All four players are excited about continuing their academic and athletic journey with each other at Quincy. Together, they had a combined total of 18 scholarship offers.

The Mustangs will host a National Signing Day program for these four, along with several other players who are among the 7 percet of high school football players nationally who go on to play at the college level. Quarterback William James committed to West Point Academy (Army), and outside line backer Kyren Moore will commit to Bridgton Academy in Bridgton, Maine. Several other Mustangs are set to travel West to join the Junior College National Football Champs at Butte College in Oroville, California.
