Morgan Park Hit By String of Burglaries

The 22nd Police District is reporting that four burglaries have taken place this month in the Morgan Park neighborhood.

Police say that a burglar or burglars have been entering residences through windows and the leaving through the back door after stealing property in the 11500 and 11900 blocks of Campbell and Artesian. The community alert does not mention if the police suspect the incidents to be related.

The burglaries appear to be contained to one area of the neighborhood -- Beat 2212 -- roughly bounded by 103rd and 107th Streets on the north, Sacramento on the west, 119th Street on the south, and Vincennes on east.

Police said that burglars have hit between 8 p.m. and 10 p.m.

Call 911 immediately if you see suspicious vehicles or people in the neighborhood, including any vehicle description and license plate information.
