The Mother McAuley volleyball team continues to roll with a two-set win over rival Marist.
CHICAGO, IL -- The sports rivalry between Mother McAuley and Marist took its latest turn this week as the two squared off in the "Battle of Mount Greenwood" in volleyball. Mother McAuley earned a 25-20 victory in game one and a 25-17 triumph to clinch the victory in the second game.
Local sports media reports indicate Charley Niego was the hero for the Mighty Macs with nine kills and 14 digs. With the home win, Mother McAuley is now 9-1.
