Mother McAuley Brings Home 15th State Volleyball Title
The nation's No. 1 ranked Mighty Macs sweep past Minooka to win 15th state title.
NORMAL, IL -- Move over Chicago Cubs, there’s another champion in town. Mother McAuley Liberal Arts High School’s varsity volleyball team captured its 15th state crown Saturday night in Normal.
The country’s No 1 ranked Mighty Macs stormed past Minooka High School at Redbird Stadium on the Illinois State University campus.
In past years when McAuley brought home the state title, team members were ferried around the high school on a golf cart. Time to start #FlyingTheM.
