Mount Carmel 2018 Football Schedule Released

CHICAGO, IL - The Mount Carmel High School Caravan football team returns to action this Saturday with a game against Hope Academy at Northern Illinois University. It will be the first time since 1983 in which the program opens the season without legendary head coach Frank Lenti on the sideline. The game will also mark the first for new head coach and former NFL player Jordan Lynch, who played at NIU in college and was a Heisman Trophy finalist.

The Caravan shared their full schedule on Twitter below. The team's home opener is set for Friday, Aug. 31 against Maine South.

Recently, research conducted by national prep sports website MaxPreps shows that the Caravan are one of the 50 winningest high school football programs in the entire nation.
