Mount Greenwood to Host First Centre Lumiere Sale in Chicago Area

Centre Lumiere, a premier sewing school in Les Cayes, Haiti that teaches young women life-changing skills promoting economic independence, leadership training and spiritual development, will host its first handmade sewing sales in the Chicago area, including a stop at Mount Greenwood Lutheran Church on November 7 and 8. Items made at Centre Lumiere are known for their superior quality, detail and hand craftmanship.

Items available for purchase include kitchen items, including aprons, dishtowels and embroidered wine bottle bags; women’s accessories, including cosmetic bags, hats, headbands, handbags, shawls and scarves; doll clothes, including sets in American Girl and Bitty Baby sizes; and baby/children items, including bibs, blankets, diaper bags and more.
