Mt. Carmel Tops New Football Rankings, Marist and Saint Rita in Top 30

USA Today has released its top high school football team rankings in Illinois. At top of the heap is a familiar position for this year's topper -- Mount Carmel High School who went 13-1 last year on their way to a state championship. The rankings are powered by Massey Ratings. 

The ratings measure past performance, not necessarily future outcome, so anything can happen.
