Music On The Green CANCELLED SUNDAY At Morgan Park Academy
Music On The Green at Morgan Park Academy has been cancelled for Sept. 11, due to rain.

CHICAGO — This event has been cancelled due to inclement weather. Boogie your blues away and buy your tickets for the 19th Ward’s Music on The Green, Sunday, Sept. 11, in the Jones Bowl at Morgan Park Academy, 2153 W. 111th St., Chicago. The evening features live music, fireworks and a craft beer festival from 5 to 8:30 p.m.
Chicago’s premiere wedding and event band, the Gentlemen of Leisure, affectionately known as “The Gents,” will perform a musical smorgasbord to sate even the most discrete of palates. From Top 40 to the Standards, to jazz to hip-hop, to polka to Motown, the Gents do it all. The band comprises 15 pieces, which including a dynamic brass section, a smoking rhythm section and the hottest female vocalists in Chicago.
Tickets are $10 per person, or $30 per family, and are on sale now. Food and beverages will be available for purchase. All proceeds will benefit Special Olympics Chicago and the 19th Ward Youth and Community Foundation. Purchase tickets here.
