Northwestern College Hosted Successful Fall Blood Drive in Bridgeview!
Northwestern College hosted successful Fall Blood Drive, collecting 26 pints from students, faculty, staff and members of the community!

[Bridgeview, IL] On Tuesday, October 28, Northwestern College’s Bridgeview Campus (7725 S. Harlem Avenue) opened its doors to the community and hosted a very successful Fall Blood Drive! Students, faculty, staff and members of the public all participated in the four hour event facilitated by the Heartland Blood Center. This year’s blood drive yielded twenty six (26) pints of blood, although additional donors attempted to donate but were deferred. Several members of the community also came out to the College to donate blood as part of this community effort, which was very much appreciated. Each donor received a free Zipper Ear Buds as a token of gratitude.
Special thanks to Medical Assisting Program Coordinator Kathy Locke for facilitating the event alongside Heartland, and for the volunteer efforts of student Tiffani Alopogianis of the Medical Assisting Program who donated her time throughout the course of the day.
