CHICAGO — A Chicago police officer accused of relieving himself on an ice machine at a Florida bar while on vacation has been relieved of his police powers, a CPD spokesperson said.

Henry W. Capouch, 34, of Chicago’s Mount Greenwood neighborhood, is facing charges of simple battery and disorderly conduct in St. Petersburg Beach, Fla., according to Pinellas County court records.

On Dec. 5, Florida authorities said an employee at the Beachcomber Bar in St. Petersburg found a man, later identified as Capouch, urinating on the ice machine. Capouch is alleged to have started cussing and shoving the employee and a security guard at the bar.
