Party With Prince, Purple Rain in Beverly This Weekend

Prince is making a comeback — and his resurrection is right here in Beverly.

Fans of the late rock star should make their way on Saturday, Aug. 13 to the Beverly Arts Center, where they can partake in a "Celebration of Prince" that includes a featured film, live music and dancing.

The 7 p.m. soiree kicks off with a screening of Purple Rain followed by a live concert by Avery R. Young & de Deacon Board. The band jams until 11 p.m. and party goers can take their pick from onsite food trucks during the show. There will also be a cash bar.
