Police Warn of Rash of Burglaries and Home Invasions
Four recent burglaries reported, where suspect stole property or menaced people inside, cops say.

Morgan Park 22nd District police issued a community alert warning the public of a rash of burglaries that have occurred in Washington Heights neighborhood.
Police say four burglaries have taken place between October 23 and November 2 involving a similarly described suspect. In each incident, the suspect either attempted or forced his way into the location. Once inside, the suspect stole property or menaced the people inside.

- 8800 block of South Aberdeen Street, between 8 and 11 a.m., October 23
- 8800 block of South Aberdeen Street, approximately 12:30 a.m., October 25
- 8800 block of South Throop Street, around 11:55 p.m., October 28
- 1100 block of West 90th Street around 2 a.m. November 2.
The suspect has been described a male black in his late 20s, between 5’6” and 6’02” inches tall, 150 pounds, with short black hair and a medium complexion. Police said he was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt.
