Queen Of Hearts Jackpot At McNally's Reaches $500,000
There's still a way to go before the jackpot gets into 2018 territory, however.
CHICAGO - Queen of Hearts fever reached the South Side of Chicago last summer when the jackpot at McNally's in Morgan Park eventually reached $2.6 million. And as summer begins this year, we could see that number rise again.
The St. Cajetan Queen of Hearts jackpot is now officially more than $500,000. The weekly split-the-pot drawing has again garnered attention in the community, with special guests like Bobby Hull, Jerry Joyce and the South Side Irish Parade Queen even coming out to pull the card.
Last year, the game went down to the last few cards in the deck before the queen was selected. A dentist from west suburban Darien took home half the pot, $1.3 million. The other half helps support programs and projects at St. Cajetan Catholic School in Morgan Park.
