Registration Opens For 2019 Beverly Breast Cancer Walk

CHICAGO - The Beverly Breast Cancer Walk, a Mother's Day tradition in the neighborhood, enters its 20th year in 2019 and participants can already reserve their spots. Registration is now open via the Little Company of Mary website.

The walk start at 8 a.m. at Ridge Park on Sunday, May 12 this year. Those who register early will get a T-shirt. It's $30 for adults and $15 for children 18 and under.

More than $46,000 has already been raised for this year's walk months ahead of time. According to this week's Beverly Area Planning Association e-newsletter, since the walk began in 2000, more than $6 million has been raised to help support Little Company's Comprehensive Breast Health Center.
