Gang Member Shot in Domestic Dispute: Cops

A man police say is a documented gang member was shot in the arm in the South Side Scottsdale neighborhood.

CHICAGO, IL -- A 36-year-old documented gang member was shot Thursday in what Chicago police say was a domestic dispute. The man was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in good condition. Chicago Police Central Area detectives are investigating.

Chicago police responded around 6:53 p.m. April 5 to 85th Street and Pulaski in the Scottsdale neighborhood to a report of a person shot. The man suffered a gunshot wound to the upper right arm. Police said the man was a documented gang member. The shooting appears to be a domestic related incident. Detectives are speaking to a person of interest.
