Woman Forced Out Of Car, Told To Lay On Ground During Carjacking
Police are investigating a carjacking that happened around noon Wednesday in a business parking lot on 95th Street in Oak Lawn.

OAK LAWN, IL -- Oak Lawn police are investigating a vehicular hijacking that happened Wednesday in the 6200 block of West 95th St. The purported hijacking happened around noon in a business parking lot.
A woman was sitting in her car when a man opened her door and demanded that she get out. He ordered her to lay on the ground. The woman did as she was told. The man entered her vehicle, a gray 2017 Hyundai Velostar and fled the parking lot in an unknown direction.Police said the man did not display nor infer that he had a weapon.
The suspect is described as a male black in his mid-20s, approximately 6 feet tall and weighing 180 pounds. He was wearing a green sweater, blue jeans and burnt orange knit cap. Oak Lawn police released a composite drawing.
